This is to let you know that we've investigated complexity of Folder Sharing for standalone/external S3 credentials with our development team and with high probability we'll be able to deliver it in January 2025.

Thank you for your patience. We expect to release folder sharing (beta) in a next few weeks, but this will apply to our managed storage plans only (https://s3drive.app/pricing).
In a next turn we will try to hack around the S3 limitation to emulate folders for external S3 back-ends..
There are couple more features that we plan to introduce (e.g. auto-update shared resource if new files gets added within a shared folder, generate link for upload request). These features will initially be released for our managed plans.
We will then try to introduce these feature for external S3 back-ends, as you may be already aware, it's way harder to emulate "feature-rich" cloud service using just S3 and no external back-end to rely on.
